Ha! Maybe it was Ferret Day! Crazy! I live about five minutes from the park on foot. I admit in all the times I have been there in the past 18 months, I have never seen folks with ferrets. Maybe it is a new thing, though. It is a great jogging park, as evidenced by the many joggers I see (lol. I don't do it, although I do stroll there frequently).

It is a fantastic place to explore and have a picnic, and I really do recommend the park and the neighborhood all around it as a really great Paris-off-the-beaten-path location.

I'm referencing & linking this post in a blog of my own that involves the Buttremont, just so you know! Thanks for sharing your perspective of the park!

I wish it was closer to my apartment…would love to run through this park. You really do see all kinds of people enjoying this place. Strangely enough, it also seems to be popular with ferret-lovers (I saw 5 of them in the park with 2 different groups of people).

It is probably the best park to go jogging. I love all the people, picnickers, boaters, strollers, lovers… it's truly is one of the cities treasures!
